Does an encrypted iPhone backup include folders?

Does an encrypted iPhone backup include folders? My iPhone 7 with IOS 14.6 runs out of battery very quickly. I intend to do an encrypted backup, erase all content and settings, then restore the encrypted backup. Will existing folders survive intact or will I have to rebuild them?

How do I view my iphone's backup data? Hello, Every time I run out of space on my iPhone I make backups to my computer and basically start from scracth. But now I wanted to view the files that are backed up and they're all encrypted. They're not password protected or anything, just weird file folders and names (no extensions). Is there really no easy way to see the backups I created? Have hundreds of photos and videos. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

My iOS encrypted backup won't fit on my new phone My iOS encrypted backup on my computer is bigger than the size of my new iPhone and is too large to be loaded. It was 234 before and now it is over 256. What should I do? I already erased all content and settings, so that is my only complete back up? Not sure what to do. thanks!

When you restore from that backup then your existing folders (on your home screen) will be restored exactly the way you had them on your iPhone.
