My Apple TV 4K is just blinking and won't do anything. What do I do?

Is it the status light that is blinking?
First try a cold restart, by disconnecting from power for a minute or so.
If the issue persists, then the system software may need to be restored. Unfortunately, users can’t restore the 4K unit externally themselves. Instead contact Apple Support for service.
