External Drive not showing up on Mac OS: Perv Error:Error External drive not ejected correctly.

I have a new external Drive, it works well on windows and worked well for a day on Mac, but it has suddenly stopped showing up on the Mac OS. To make sure it was still working , I removed the drive and used it again on Windows OS, it worked perfectly well there, Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

External drive wont mount Hello, I recently of updated to Ventura 13 on my iMac. A few days later my external drive that was operating was un able to mount. I have tested this on a second Mac with an older operating system and the drive mounts perfectly. I have gone through a safe start up and the drive does show up and functions fine, I can open files etc. It does not show up and I cannot use it on a normal start up. Any help appreciated. thanks, Steve

external drive not mounting I have an OWC minstack stx connected Thunderbolt 4 to a MacStudio M1 max and the 8 TB hard drive is not mounting The SSD mounts and operates normally. I've reinstalled Ventura and on the first boot the hard drive appears and operates normally but after a restart it dissappears again. very frustrating! It operated fine under Ventura 13.1. any hints? I can't figure out how to go back to 13.1 and Apple support says they don't support that

How it the External Drive Formatted ?

If formatted to Windows NTFS - yes it should be viewable in macOS BUT only as Read and Not Writeable.

If formatted as exFat - it is usable on both Windows and MacOS both Read and Writeable
