How do i get my photos off my iPhone to my Microsoft HP computer

This is driving me nuts, have so many photos I am trying to get off my phone to HP desktop and it keeps disconnecting halfway through the transfer, only a few files make it with some being corrupt

Help

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Access the DCIM folders on the device through Windows Explorer and transfer one folder at a time.

If you cannot transfer entire folders break the task up further.
