This May Not Be An Option:
Registering a keyboard is not an option. Hover. it may be for some of your other devices. As for coverage, keep the original packaging and report for a proof of purchase. You have a one year, out-of-the-box, limited-waaenty with it. So, if not proof of purchase, then it cannot be covered. So, get the Serial Number, and then enter it, to find out if it is covered.
