Apple TV app

As I said, the Apple TV App on Smart TVs does not support accessing the library on a computer. The TV Apps on iPhone and iPad do.

On an iPad and iPhone, you are either using Home Sharing or have synced the videos onto those devices. Neither of which is supported on the Apple TV App on smart TVs.

Unless you have an actual Apple TV box connected to the TV, you cannot.

The Apple TV App on smart TVs does not have the option to read iTunes libraries from a computer.

If your Smart TV supports things like Plex or VLC, you could conceivably use them to access your media on your computer.
