Relocated Items file

the last 2 updates on my MacBook Air created a folder "Relocated Items". The folder name is "etc" and contains a document which I cannot open named "group.system_default". How should I proceed?

Move folder to trash. That is only a shortcut to something that was moved by the installation and most likely has no impact especially if you do not recognize the file. Many have seen this same thing.
