Apple Music - Personal Library Search
When searching for songs on your laptop, how do I see the results in list view? I used iTunes to keep my music organized. Apple Music makes this a lot harder for no apparent reason.

Don't search anything first. E.g. select Artists, Songs, Albums etc. in the sidebar, then use View > Show Filter Field, then type in the new search box that appeared to filter what is shown down to your search term.
