Smart Keyboard folio not recognized anymore

I have been using my Smart Keyboard folio for a year but 10 days now my iPad does not recognize it. I have done lots of restarts but in vain. I receive an error message “accessory is not supported”

iPad Pro 12.9-inch, 2nd Gen, Wi-Fi, Cell

If your iPad is updated to the latest iPadOS version (now 14.6), if you already cleaned the smartconnector (on your SmartKeyboardFolio and on your iPad, using these instructions:--> How to clean your Apple products - Apple Support ) and the issue still persists, contact Apple Support using this link:--> https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=kbase&SG=SG004&category_id=SC0300&symptom_id=20186
