My videos turn into pictures

I transfer my videos into my flash drive from my ps5 then I insert my flash drive into my MacBook to edit however my videos turn into pictures and I want to know how can I turn the pictures back into my videos

Which format is being used by PS5 to export videos? Are you certain that the PS5 is exporting videos and not a screen capture of the videos?
