Mail error message

I keep getting error messages on Mail:

"Online Status: Connections to the server "p13-imap.mail.me.com" on the default ports timed out"

I am getting the identical message for several different icloud accounts (different mailboxes).

Then it disappears. Then it reappears.

What is this due to? How to fix this?
