Unable to take advantage of Free One Year Subscription for Apple TV+

I bought a new iPhone 12 Pro Max less than 2 weeks ago. I have set it up under my apple ID. I do not get the offer for a free one year subscription for Apple TV+. I only get 7 days free, then $4.99/month

I have the Apple TV+ app installed

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

If you can't redeem your promotional trial of Apple TV+ - Apple Support

If you qualify, and did as described in the guide, and you still do not get to see the year offer, then contact Apple Support for assistance (step 5 in the link above).
