ways to locate my lost dead phone
My phone is lost or stolen. Location is turned off and I'm sure the battery is probably dead. Question is there any way to locate the device?

Yes the old fashion way you physically look for it.

great advice. being confined to my bed for a few days after surgery doesn't help. It was in my personal belonging going in.
Contact the hospital maybe it dropped while you where in there. Maybe they have a lost and found area.
Sorry, but other than physical searching, there is no way to find a device that is powered off. It’s inert at that point so no way to connect to it remotely at all.
