Deleting messages
If I have messages turned off on my iPad and I delete old messages on iPad to free up storage, will the messages be deleted from iCloud or just my iPad?

If you have locally disabled Messages in iCloud on your iPad, you can delete messages on iPad without impacting other devices that are signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID.
