Search in finder with spotlight dont work properly

Spotlight shows a lot of the crap on the net, but cant show items in applications. I have reindexed. Are there other metods? thanks for any help

Spotlight Results Not Clickable Spotlight returns results as expected but most of the results aren’t clickable, which makes spotlight kind of useless. (Folders and documents generally aren’t clickable. Apps seem to fine.) I’ve reindexed with no change. Is there something else I can do to fix this?

Search in Finder/Spotlight etc doesn't work Since yesterday all kinds of searches either return nothing or very few results. This also happens on a number of external drives. I have rebuilt the Spotlight index sveral times, but it makes no difference. This is very untimely since I need to search for tons of files to finish an important project, preferably yesterday. All help is greatly appreciated!

Slow Spotlight My searches in Spotlight are extremely slow at returning results or does not even show anything at all. I can be waiting for minutes on end and still nothing shows up. Spellings are correct. Can't understand what the issue could be.

If you are looking for files in your drive I suggest you use Finder search. Command-F. You can customize the search to your heart’s content and even save the search parameters as a smart folder.
