How do I get the passcode off, it stopped taking my correct passcode after an update May 18, 2021

I update my I phone 11 on May 18,2021 and right after the passcode would not work, so now my phone is in emergency won't let me do anything on it

I went thru steps on Apple Support to reset my phone but that did not work, either Help

Connect iPhone to Computer / Mac


Settings > Touch/Face ID & Passcode > USB Accessories > [Enable]


You haven't mentioned whether you have a PC or Mac. However...


  1. Use your USB lightening cable --> Resolve USB-related alerts in iTunes - Apple Support
  2. If unable to connect --> If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support
