iPad 11 Pro Power Adapter Compatibility

My iPad Pro came with an 18W USB-C power adapter. Can an older 10W power adapter (model A1357) be used to safely charge the iPad?

Whilst not recommended, you can use the 10W Power Adapter without damage. Be aware, however, that charging will be very slow; 10W is barely adequate for reliable charging of an iPad.

The supplied 18W Power Adapter is certainly more suitable.
