Macbook Air shuts down having 40% charge left in the battery and does not turn on until connected to charger

Macbook Air 13 inch Early 2015 shuts down having 40% charge left in the battery and does not turn on until connected to charger. Could it be the battery issue? Attached battery information. Can any help please. Thanks in advance.

Run the Apple Diagnostics to see if it reports any hardware issues.

Most likely the battery is failing even if it passes the diagnostic. Apple still supports this laptop so I suggest getting an official Apple battery since the quality of third party Lithium-ion batteries is extremely poor even when purchased from a reputable vendor such as OWC or iFixIt.
