Music app will not work on our 2 iphone 6's and ipad mini since installing update ios 12.5.3, yesterday

Have been told to wait 24 hours and then recontact Apple if it still not working.
Very surprising that they wouldn't know a) if it has been fixed, b) who it has affected, c) how to contact them and inform them what is happening.
