apple watch series always on does not stay on

My Apple Watch Series 5 Always On feature does not stay work (watch does not stay on). Have done the following:

Updated Software

Powered Off/Back On

Turned OFF Always On feature, waited a couple minutes, and turned it back on

Did the same, but from phone, and not watch.

Any other suggestions?

Apple Watch 5 Always On Not Working About 3 days ago, I noticed that the Always On feature on my Series 5 iWatch is not working. I have confirmed it is set up to be always on in settings, and have also raised the brightness and did a forced restart on both my watch and the phone it is paired to. Any ideas on how to get this turned back on?

My Apple Watch does not stay “always on”. I have tried everything I can think of like resetting it and rebooting my phone. Is there anything else I can do? I would like to keep my watch set at “always on”. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it. I used to have it set an “always on” so I know there’s nothing wrong with a watch. I’m not sure what I did to unset it. It now only turns on when I press the crown or tap the screen. I’ve tried resetting it by pressing the toggle on and off, and I’ve also rebooted my watch and my iPhone 13 pro. It is set on “always on”, but it is not staying always on. please help!!!

See if you have theatre mode turned in the control centre and turn it off;

Thanks Fiery Jack, you are a Genius! That was the issue. Didn’t even know we had a Theater Mode (this was my wife’s watch actually)!
