I did the transfer as I was instructed. My apps on the new device are taking over 12 hours to download - nothing is happening. It says waiting. Do I have to anything more in order to allow them to fully download?

I figured it out! I thought my apple ID was already signed in on my new device but once I went in settings and signed in the downloads started.
