Not able to update MacBook Pro

Hi

My MacBook pro is mid 2012, macOS Sierra. The version in it is 10.12 and my app store shows no update. How can I update it.

A mid-2012 through early-2013 MacBook Pro can be upgraded to Catalina 10.15.7 but no later than that. See: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support
