Phone won’t restart
The Apple logo stays on the screen for over an hour and can’t reset with the up down side button routine
what else can I do

Did you try connecting it to your computer-itunes? I am not sure if it will detect your phone or not, but you can try to let the battery die and then charge it as long as you can, then do a hard reset. Hope this helps.
