Camn an ypone suggest an alternative app to unzip zipped files?

Can anyone suggest an alternative to unzipped zipped files since Zipec does not have an updated version?

What is the problem with double-clicking a .zip file in the Finder and having it unzip it? Conversely, you can right-click on a file or folder, and from the Finder's secondary menu, select Compress "xyz" to zip that content. Otherwise, there is the free The UnArchiver from the Mac App Store.

Thank you for the reply. I used to be able to double click on a zipped file and Zipeg used to open it. At the moment when I double click on a zipped file, there is a reaction but the unzipped file never appears just above the zipped file as it used to. I then went looking for Zipeg and a message told me that it is not suitable for a 16bit processor.
