Does anyone know if the Mac Mini with the M1 chip will work with the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID? I'm looking for a solution for my father so he doesn't have to type his password in all the time. Thank you.

Yes it will work only with all m1 powered machines! Just wait couple of months and it will be available in store. Now it is exclusive to imac but like all accessories it will be available later this year in stores.
It’ll work but without Touch (available only on the M1 iMac, unfortunately).
