Since getting new iphone 12 mini, messages coming to my phone only sometimes make it to my ipad?!
I have forwarding set from phone to ipad. I understood why they weren't when I didnt' have that set. But now, sometimes they come through and sometimes they don't.

You may need to disable iMessage from your iPad in order to prevent iMessages from being synced on both devices. To do this, go to Settings > Messages > disable iMessage.

This is the opposite of what I wanted. I DO want the messages to come to my ipad and they weren't. They now are. Thanks though.
