screensaver changed with update to 11.3 : rotated photos (edit) show original orientation - how to fix?

No other apple screensaver uses Photos pictures. So I can no do that.
Restart no help.
Apple has know of this for years based on user questions and comments.
Only known solution is:
Select Photos Pictures you want into an album.
(I used a smart album named screensaver to collect the wanted dates, exclude hidden & videos, etc.)
Export all of that album to the Desktop.
(This sends edited and properly rotated pictures to the Desktop album. )
(I did 13000 pictures overnight - no problem.)
Use screensaver preferences to apply the pictures in the Desktop Album. (I labeled mine Exported Screensaver.)
