Hello. Has anyone else had any issues with airdrop after the 14.5 update? I have noticed that after the update, I am only able to airdrop to other devices on 14.5 or Big Sur 11.3. Everything was working fine until we updated some devices. I can't seem to figure out what to do to get it to work again.
iPhone 12 Pro Max
Trying to go from either Big Sur 11.3 or iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 11 Pro with 14.5 on them to an older iPad Air running iOS 12. I can see all of the other devices just fine. Just not the iPad. Unfortunately it cannot be upgraded past iOS 12. So that could be the issue now but it has worked until the updates.
What iOS device? My iPad 5 just updated to 14.5 has no issues AirDropping to my 2017 iMac running Mojave. Just tested it.
So the issue seems to have fixed Itself and is now working again. Strange since it was only the two phones on iOS 14.5 but I am glad it’s working again.
