What can I do.

How can I access the iPad I inherited from a deceased relative? It's been factory reset but I can't get beyond the Activation Lock screen?

inherited ipad mini, can't unlock, mom is deceased Help! I have inherited my mom's iPad mini. I believe it is first generation. Model A1432. Of course it is locked and I have not been able to find her Apple ID, password, etc. Activation Help screen on setup says I need to contact the original owner. She is deceased. Previous owner of iPad is deceased I have my late mother's ipad. She wasn't able to give any passwords to any of her accounts before passing away. Was wondering if there is another way to bypass the activation lock on her device.
