Trojan horse virus

I received a pop on my iPhone 12 that said I had a Trojan horse virus. I didn’t click on it but am wondering if it could be true? I can’t imagine Apple would send this message. Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do?

Unless your iPhone has been jailbroken it cannot get a virus. Most likely, this is a scam message.
