There is no quality loss when copying from one Keynote presentation to another, use the mouse to drag and drop from the navigator panel on the left of the slide canvas.

Thank you for your reply. I'm using Keynote for years and suddenly I had a feeling that the images are getting worse when I'm copying from one Keynote to another.
