My iphone will not sync with my itunes in my PC

Spent 2+ hours trying to get my iphone to sync with my PC itunes. Can copy songs over to the iphone but not playlists. Please help, very frustrated

iTunes and iPhone won't sync properly I have tried several times for days to sync music on my iPhone 6 with iTunes on my WIndows computer, but they won't sync. All the iTunes does is start the syncing process and prepare the items to be synced in three steps. Before this problem arose, my iPhone would sync in six steps. It is not working anymore. cannot sync iPhone 7 with itunes I have an iPhone 7plus that will not sync with iTunes. When I select playlists to sync or apply, it goes through the motions but nothing is transferred. I should mention that it had been working for years, but just stopped in the last month or so. I've updated iTunes, the iOS on my phone, but still nothing.

Typically you would select the device with the icon near the top left, then click the Music tab, opt to sync selected playlists, make your selection, and sync.
