The iPhone 12 doesn’t use a standard USB cable for charging. But my car has USB ports. Can I use a cord from my 6S to charge the 12 in my car?

Can I safely my charger cord from my 6S iPhone to charge my iPhone 12 from the standard USB port in my car?
