Hi, How do I sync my health app from my IPhone to my Watch

Hi, I am unable to sync one health app from my IPhone to my watch or is there an app that I can use to count my steps on my watch?

The watch already keeps a running total of steps during the day;

And data goes from the watch to the phone,not the other way round.
