Cable charger issue

I've bought an additional iPhone cable from Apple and it's crack damage start to appear on the cable plug, (With no hardness usage), I understand that the the hardware has its own usage lifetime, but I didn't expect this such a fragile material from Apple brand.

Has anyone has this issue?

iPhone charger cable breaking already! I bought a brand new cable a few months ago and it's already breaking close to the port area. Is there a warranty on them? If so, how do I go about claiming this. They're to expensive to have to buy a new one every time it breaks. Help, please!
