Big Sur Lagging on i9 Pro

Animations, mouse cursor movement and just about every UI element on Big Sur incredibly. Slow.

Startup in Safe Mode. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201262

Select your account and login.

Test.

Log out of your account.

To leave Safe Mode, click Apple logo  in the menu bar and choose “Restart”.


If you find your Mac is running slowly, there are a number of potential causes that you can check.
