My MacBook Air won’t turn on. All of a sudden it went black with colored lines. Help! I have tried pushing the F3 display button, have tried pushing the power button, tried pushing the power button with shift, option, control.
I didn’t drop the computer. Not sure how something would have smashed it!
I was finally able to start it by pushing the power button, option, command, p, and r. And by start, I mean that the key board illuminates and I can hear it running. But still not image.
this is literally happening to me right now. i opened my MacBook air and all of a sudden there's vertical lines on the far right side and on the bottom. it still works, i can use it, but i dont know how this happened. i didn't smash it or drop anything on it. :( Idk what to do
You'll need to take it to an Apple Authorized Service Center or your nearest Apple Store genius bar for evaluation and repair.
My guess, and it's only a guess, is if thats not a broken screen the gpu has failed.

Now I plugged it in, and it died. Then I hit power button alone, and the keyboard illuminates.
T screen isn’t smashed. They’re just colored lines.
That looks like something has smashed your display, tough to tell from a picture. Will it boot in safe mode? How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Did you try starting it in safe mode?

i just did it and it didn't work :( do i need to wait for it to work or something?
Safe boot disables accelerated graphics and only loads Apple software. Trying to rule out a software issue. You can try reinstalling MacOS but I'm not confident it will resolve your issue.
