It's been a while now that I've been having issues with logic pro X. I am using a plug in and when I record, I can hear the notes fine but once I try to play it back, I cannot hear anything. I tried so many things but as I am still new to logic so I am sure there are stuff I haven't tried yet. I would really appreciate any help I can get as I've been trying to fix this problem for two weeks now :(

Try and delete it all. You certainly want to make sure Volume is at -0 and that the Mute Parameter is not turning on and off.
This could help with deleting automation on a track.

There seems to be no automation on the tracks but I still tried to delete them all like you showed me and the problem is still there.
Basically, I can play the track "Inst3" from the middle(or from any part) but not "Inst2" .

Can we try this? Please try using another plug-in and let me know if it works fine.
It is a bit of a long shot but try bypassing certain plug-ins. I know for me there are plug-ins that do not translate from my laptop to desktop. Perhaps there is a plug-in that needs to be updated or authorized? Have you tried bypassing all plug-ins?

It's weird but after using a different plug-in, I retried it with the one I was using before and now it works! However, the only way I can play in back is to play it from the beginning of the track, meaning that when I try to play it from the middle of the track(for example), I cant hear anything.
I am so glad this is helping. I am willing to bet that you have some kind of automation going on which is affecting the playback. Can you check this for me? Hit the key command “a”and toggle through your automation parameters.

I am so sorry for the very late response, a lot was going on. Unfortunately, even when I try a brand new session, I still get that problem(I can't play it from a random part but only from the beginning). Also, there is no option to switch track to read. The read is under and it is activated.

i went on project settings>midi> chase
and I clicked the ‘note’ box!

What should I be looking for exactly in the automation parameters?
This is a brand new session right? Can you try this on a new session?
Also, can you change your tracks from TRACK (Yellow) to READ (green).
