I just got a 16" MacBook Pro to replace my aging Macbook Air. One thing I liked about the Air is that a light tap on the trackpad would make a "left click" (didn't have to actually click down on the pad). This doesn't seem to work on the new MacBook Pro. Is it a setting somewhere, or did they really do away with that feature?

It is still available. Make sure these features are enabled.

Bingo!! Only point to note for others: the "click or tap" option on Secondary click dropdown only appeared for me *after* I turned on the "Enable tap to click".
No more light tapping to click on trackpad of new MacBook pro?
