Can I use Carplay on my iPhone? I do not have a screen in my car. I love the interface and I can't find any reference to using it on the iPhone anywhere on the web. There are some other apps, but Carplay is really nice and it is apple and it comes from the iPhone so I am surprised there isn't a way to do it/ It seems that it would be a no brainer for Apple. I have an iPhone 12 normal.

I agree it would be nice to have. I have a screen, but no CarPlay and no reasonable way to get it in my car.
Is this something has been discussed either in the forums or somewhere else to suggest to Apple that they make it available on the iPhone? It just seems like an obvious missing piece on the app. And it doesn’t seem like it would hurt anything to offer it as an app as well for those of us without screens in the car.

No. You need an infotainment system that supports CarPlay.
The CarPlay interface can't be accessed directly on the device.
