Imports to FCP trial, but unable to import to paid FCP

Howdy-

I was using the trial FCP for a project and all worked great. I then paid for the full FCP which I am now trying to use, but when I try and import anything into the paid version it wont import. (tried drag and drop as well as "import".)

I then went back to the trial version and was able to import fine. Then when I close the trial version and restart the paid version, I see my imported files.

What am I doing wrong? What's blocking me from importing directly into the paid FCP?

Secondly, if I delete the trial version will my old libraries and projects still be available in the paid version?

Thanks for any help!

I just added FCP to full disk access. (I noticed that FCP trial was not in that list either, btw). Then restarted FCP.

If I try and drag and drop a MOV from my SSD to the FCP browser, the file just flys back to the SSD upon release of the drag and drop.

I then tried the "import" and that actually worked for the first time! I then tried a drag and drop and that also worked!

So it seems like the issue was indeed the lack of full disk access.

Thanks TOM!!!
