Hypothetical Question about Warranty

So lets say I buy a iPhone 11 Pro Max and I walk out of the store take it out of the box and it falls on the floor and the screen cracks. The crack is fairly small but noticeable. Is getting this screen fixed covered by the Apple Warranty or do I have to pay like $100 plus to get it fixed?
