Update to Big Sur

Why I cannot update to Big Sur? Is it because the processor? RAM and Free Space on disc drive are plenty, but I not able to update.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

it depends on many factors, everything from RAM to graphics card among many other factors. these macs are compatible:

As @ jeffreythefrog has shared the information on the computers that qualify for the Big Sur UpGrade. Special attention must be given to the Empty Space Requirements of 35.5 GB for a possible successful upgrade.
