Ringer is broken on my new iPhone 12 pro

Hi, I just got my new iPhone 12 pro and every time the ringer is on silent mode or I have my phone on do not disturb I can still hear it ring. It keeps happening during my exams or when I am at the library. How do I fix that?

If nothing (generally a cover) is obstructing your mute switch activity (please check), if DND is not working properly, since your iphone is still covered by warranty, make an appointment and have it inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider.
