Does Apple make an adapter to connect lightning earphones to 12.9-inch iPad Pro? I’ve tried 2 from Anker but unreliable.

No - Apple do not make a USB-C to Lightning Adapter. Anker do make an adapter for this purpose.
Frankly, you would be better advised to invest is a good quality earphone/headphone with a standard 3.5mm audio plug - and use a USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter:
