80 year old father in law has activation lock on his phone and doesn't remember his apple ID password and cannot access his email account anymore to obtain instructions to reset apple ID password. Also, does not remember security questions so unable to reset apple ID password that way. Will an Apple Store be able to assist him?
The only way he can get by Activation Lock is to remember his Apple ID and Password or take it to an Apple Store along with original receipt clearly showing the serial number. Activation Lock is a theft prevention feature which would be useless if there was a way around it.
