I need to update my iMac from MacOS 10.13.6 to MacOS 10.14 so I can run TurboTax 2020. How do I do this

Whether that is possible depends on which iMac you have. If "About this Mac..." shows your iMac to be 2011 or older, it is maxed out at 10.13.6; its older hardware can support no higher macOS.


If 2012 through 2013 it can run up to macOS 10.15 "Catalina." If 2014 or higher it can run Big Sur.
