Why is Safari now unusable?

What is the workaround for Apple’s foolish decision to drop support for flash making most websites unusable?

Apple didn't drop support for Flash. Adobe discontinued Flash and all support for it. Adobe announced this three years ago. Very few websites were still using it at the time it stopped working.

What little buttons? What websites? Can you give a specific example? Flash was a framework for streaming video content.

And I cant use another browser because all my passwords are in Safari.

You can access all of your passwords through the Keychain app. You may need to copy and paste them but they are still quite usable.
