I deleted videos and photos and it still said my iCloud storage is full

My phone says iCloud storage is full. I deleted many photos and videos and it still says full? What do I do?

Icloud storage Hi, I'm wondering if someone can please help me, I have a 64 GB iPhone 12 and have used 52 gb of this. I have 50 GB of iCloud storage and it says it is full and it is driving me mad. It says 31 GB is photos but I only have 4500 photos/videos on my phone so surely that isn't 31 GB worth? I have no photos on my Mac as I deleted them to see if it helped but it doesn't. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance.

If you're using an iPhone, go to Settings > (your name) > iCloud > Manage Storage. Here you can see the breakdown on what apps consumes your iCloud storage.

If you're using Mac, go to System Preferences > Apple ID > Manage
