HomePod mini
So just got a HomePod mini and whenever I change my volume it starts playing music. Does anyone know how to fix that?

It might be the manner in which you touched the top. If you tapped or slid your finger across the centre this will resume or stop playback. See: Use Touch Accommodations on HomePod - Apple Support - You can change how it responds to touch.
